Spring is Springing!

With the latest rounds of rain and the increasing temps snow is disappearing like it's in a David Copperfield magic show. It won't be long before even fair weathered riders, like myself, will be back on the road and trails. I have added a weekly rides list over on the right column as well as a race results link.
If you have a weekly ride you would like added just shoot me an e-mail cmcc@roadrunner.com

 Groups rides are fun
Look for information such as pace & distance to decide if the ride is right for you. Many rides are no drop, which means no-one gets left behind. Mapped rides means the ride leader will usually have maps to the ride left on their vehicle for those that can't make the start time. If you're still looking for more information, e-mail us cmcc@roadrunner.com

INSIGHT MRI RACING
Many of the Insight racing team have been training all winter and have just started the road race season last weekend. The Scarborough Crit Series continues for the next 6 weeks. The Insight Team has also started up their weekly road training ride on Thursdays departing the Mathieu's Cycle Shop in Oakland at 5:30pm. This is not for the faint of heart! This is a race training ride!

TREK ACROSS MAINE
Hard to believe we are only 2 months away from the 2014 edition of the Trek Across Maine!
In the next couple weeks we will start Trek training rides. These are no drop rides that increase in distance up to the Trek weekend. Usually held on weekends, these rides encourage group riding skills, preparation for the Trek, and lots of fun. Join our Trek Across Maine Team and share the excitement of one of the best weekends of the year.

New blog to compliment facebook

As most of you know Instant Replay Pro Shop discontinued it's website in March and with it went our CMCC pages. Understandably many small businesses are finding that facebook and blogs are more interactive, efficient, and best of all cheap or free. So to join all of our techy elites, we have created our own blog. Be patient, we're learning, but in time we expect to have the majority of the local rides, regularly scheduled group rides, races, and a slew of other information available. Feel free to share your feed back as it is all of us that benefit from having a solid source for all things cycling in the Central Maine area.
